The StructureScan Mini XT is a reliable and versatile Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) system designed for 2D/Recon applications. Lightweight and durable, it is ideal for everyday use on construction sites. This system effectively locates embedded items such as rebar, post-tension cables, and conduits.

The StructureScan Mini XT can scan concrete thicknesses of up to 12 inches from one side. However, when the concrete slab exceeds 12 inches, scanning from both sides may be necessary to locate items near the bottom. While the StructureScan Mini XT is also capable of 3D scanning, the Flex NX system offers superior detail and is the preferred option for 3D Ground Penetrating Radar.

Radiodetection 7200

Radiodetection's RD7200 is an exceptional device designed to locate live circuits buried underground. With 8 active and 3 passive frequencies, this device can detect a wide range of frequencies from buried utilities.

The active frequencies enable technicians to locate and trace conductive pipes over long distances. By using sondes, technicians can easily follow the routes of pipes that are often difficult to detect, such as those made from clay, fiber, or concrete.

The RD7200 includes several built-in features to help prevent operator errors. The "Swing Warning System" alerts users when the device is not being used correctly. Meanwhile, the "Strike Alert" system provides both visual and audio warnings when shallow cables are detected. The device also offers vibration feedback to ensure that important items are not overlooked.

Flex NX & SIR-4000

The Flex NX is GSSI's latest ground penetrating radar (GPR) machine, designed with multiple antennas that enable technicians to scan up to 60 inches of concrete. The penetrating ability of all GPR machines depends on the number of embedded objects and the moisture content of the concrete. Notably, the Flex NX is the only GPR machine equipped with optical sensors, allowing it to orient itself and create 3D models without the need for a placement grid.

The SIR-4000 is GSSI's most advanced and powerful system, offering various modes to provide technicians with more detailed data. This machine is also capable of 3D modeling using grids to collect multiple lines of data. While the SIR-4000 can create its own 3D models, it is recommended to review this data using specialized software for optimal analysis.

Digital Radiographic Testing

SPEC & QSA Global

SPEC-300_trnspnt-768x618.png

All radiographic testing equipment and radiographic exposure devices used by Concrete Imaging, Inc. meet the criteria outlined in 10 CFR 34.20. The equipment is rigorously tested to ensure durable and safe operation.

The Source Production and Equipment Company (SPEC) and QSA Global Inc. have consistently met these requirements with their products. Therefore, we will continue to use their equipment to provide our customers with the best possible service through reliable machinery.

Concrete Imaging, Inc. offers radiographic testing for concrete thicknesses up to 18 inches. Beyond this thickness, XRay imaging becomes increasingly challenging as the density of the slab increases. This increased thickness can result in poor image quality, making it difficult to definitively distinguish between different items.

Utility Scanning - Soils GPR

UtilityScan G2

US-1-620x620_edited.png

The UtilityScan G2 is GSSI's most convenient and durable utility scanner. This device offers an impressive penetrating depth of up to 35 feet, depending on soil conditions, making it an excellent tool for locating buried utilities or other items of concern.

The UtilityScan G2 system is also 3D-capable, allowing us to survey large areas and convert the data into a 3D model.

Additionally, the UtilityScan G2 is effective for locating known items in a specific area. With a simple adjustment of its settings, it can detect buried foundations and other anomalies, helping to avoid potential hazards during excavations.

The GatorCam4 is a pushrod-style inspection system designed for viewing and inspecting pipes from the inside. This product allows customers to have a live view of pipes, enabling them to confidently assess their condition. The system can also record or capture images of damage, anomalies, and objects found within the pipe.

The GatorCam4 features a 1-inch camera with ultra-bright LEDs that provide high-resolution images. This camera is optimal for smaller pipes or those with multiple bends. For larger pipes, a 2-inch self-leveling camera is utilized, which also captures high-resolution images.

At the termination end of the hose, there is a built-in transmitter sonde that emits a frequency of 512Hz/640Hz. When combined with the RD7200, technicians can locate, trace, and mark the position of the camera above ground. This capability allows for more precise locating of plumbing pipes without the need for excavation.
